Stephen is the managing partner of EY Law Luxembourg, a business law firm registered with the Luxembourg Bar. The attorneys and lawyers of EY Law Luxembourg specialize in corporate law and M&A, investment funds, contract law, IP/IT, employment law as well as legal coordination of international projects.
Stephen’s own area of expertise is corporate law and M&A in a multidisciplinary context, as well as legal coordination of multi-country engagements.
Stephen holds a Master II (DEA) in Business Law from the University of Paris-Ouest, France. He used to be a French Avocat (attorney-at-law) in France from 1998 to 2013, was seconded with a NY Law firm (member of the EY Law network) as a foreign legal consultant from 2002 to 2005 and headed the EY Tax Luxembourg regulatory team from 2013 to 2021. Raluca is Partner and the coordinator of the legal managed services of EY Law Luxembourg.
She specializes in corporate, M&A and data protection. She has an extensive experience in managing cross-border assignments and dealing with complex corporate transactions. As coordinator of the legal managed services, Raluca assists large groups with local and/or multinational presence in need of outstanding day-to-day corporate law assistance throughout the legal entity lifecycle.
Her career track started in 2006 as an associate attorney in the corresponding law firm of EY Romania at that time. She then constantly progressed to managing associate but opted for a change in 2018 when she joined EY Luxembourg’s corporate department. With the set-up of EY Law Luxembourg end of 2022, Raluca then acted as counsel until her promotion to partner on July 1st, 2023.
Raluca holds a LLB and an LLM degree from Babeș-Bolyai University – Law Faculty of Cluj-Napoca in Romania and is IAPP CIPP/E certified.
Laurence is a Counsel in charge of the employment law practice. She advises on employment matters on day-to-day topics and international projects. Laurence is also a subject-matter expert in legal data protection.
Laurence has been an attorney-at-law and in-house HR Director in France before joining a boutique employment law firm in Luxembourg, working as an EU-attorney-at-law (Luxembourg Bar and Paris Bar).
Laurence holds a Master in Employment Law from the University of Paris-Ouest (France) and is graduated from Sciences-Po Paris.

Karolina holds a law degree from the University of Warsaw (Poland) as well as a post-graduate degree in business law from University of Amsterdam (the Netherlands).
Karolina holds a PhD in civil law from the University of Luxembourg and is a member of the research group at the University of Luxembourg on civil law (Groupe de réflexion en droit privé luxembourgeois).

Elisa is a Counsel in the funds and M&A team.
She focuses on (i) cross-border M&A transactions and (ii) the structuring and formation of Luxembourg alternative investment funds under the form of slightly regulated or non-regulated vehicles for private equity, venture capital, real estate, debt and infrastructure asset managers.
Before that, Elisa worked for several other high profile law firms, including two magic circle firms.
She holds a master’s in international Commercial Law (University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, France, with distinction) as well as a LLM in International, European and Commercial Law (University of Sheffield, United Kingdom, with distinction).

Polina Tenchurina is a Counsel in the Corporate and M&A team. Polina has experience in advising clients on a range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including corporate acquisitions (share and asset deals), disposals, mergers, demergers, migrations and other forms of corporate restructurings, setting up of joint ventures, corporate governance, private equity transactions, corporate finance transactions and general corporate law matters, including, inter alia, changes of corporate form, incorporations, distributions, liquidations, etc.
Before joining the firm, Polina worked for two law firms based in Luxembourg and passed internships in several law firms based in Moscow and in Luxembourg during the period of her studies.
Polina holds a specialist degree (Russian equivalent of Master I degree) in International Business Law from National Research University – Higher School of Economics (Moscow, Russia) (2014) as well as a Master II degree (LL.M) in European Law from University of Luxembourg (Luxembourg) (2015).

Fernando is a Counsel in the Corporate and M&A team. Before joining EY Law Luxembourg, Fernando worked with a leading law firm in Luxembourg.
Fernando holds a master II (LL.M) in European Banking and Financial Law from the University of Luxembourg (Luxembourg) (2016); a master’s in Management and International Business Law from ESADE Business School (Spain) (2015); a master II in business law from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (France) (2014).
Fernando advises on general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and group reorganizations with a specific focus on financial institutions, asset management, private equity and real estate. Fernando retains a keen interest in the Spanish and Latin American businesses and political affairs.
He has been registered with the Luxembourg Bar Association as Avocat à la Cour (Liste I) since 2023 and with the Barcelona Bar Association since 2016.

Nabila is a Senior Associate in the Corporate and M&A team. She advises on the implementation of cross-border reorganizations, mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity transactions. Nabila also assists with the setting-up of investment fund structures and advises on corporate governance matters.
Nabila previously worked in a Luxembourg law firm practicing commercial litigation and corporate law. Nabila graduated from a Bachelor of Law (LL.B) and a Juris Doctor from the University of Montreal. She is admitted to the Ontario bar (Canada) as a barrister and solicitor.

Domenico is a Junior Associate in the Corporate and M&A team. He supports clients through various financial transactions and company restructuring efforts.
His work includes helping to set up new companies in Luxembourg, facilitating mergers and acquisitions, and providing ongoing support for everyday corporate operations.
Previously, Domenico worked as a litigation lawyer in Italy, dealing with civil law matters, and as an AML consultant in Luxembourg.
Domenico earned a Master’s in Law from the Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome and an LLM in Droit Bancaire et Financier from the University of Luxembourg. He has been a qualified lawyer in Italy since 2022.
Magali is the Office Manager & Executive Assistant of the firm.
Magali is involved in all administrative duties in relation with the organization of the Law Firm, as well as the support for all team members.
In addition, Magali is in charge of the AML, KYC and CTF processes of the firm.
Prior to this experience, Magali had been working as an Executive Assistant for a major tax firm in Luxembourg for more than 15 years. She gained a large experience as an Executive Assistant for companies in France and acquired her experience in Luxembourg for banks, a law firm and PSF in Luxembourg-city.
Abigael is the Team Assistant of the firm.
Abigael is mainly in charge of organizing the execution of legal documents and scheduling our clients’ board meetings.
In addition, Abigael is involved in everything related to administration.
Abigael holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes Commerciales, Brussels, Belgium. She worked as an Administrative Assistant in several companies in Luxembourg and was able to acquire strong organizational skills.
